So first, when you start and you board an aircraft, you got a crew standing at the front door and you're saying good morning. First thing is either get a good morning back, right? Right. Day starts off good or you get nothing.

Right. Right. So who gets that attitude? We do.

I know. So did we start it? No, it started by like, it's like a give and take relationship, right? You like setting the tone. Like each passengers coming on the plane should have like, you know, they're setting the tone or what type of flight they're going to come on, whether they're carrying baggage.

And I'm not talking about luggage, physical luggage. I'm talking about like emotional baggage or attitude or whatever from what happened prior to the flight. They're stepping through our door and then all of a sudden they're bringing all that shit with them.

And that's just starting. I mean, they just start that. Yeah.

So that sets the tone for us. And then so they're like, yeah, if you have a bad attitude, OK, I'll match it. I was thinking about this week.

It was crazy how many times I was looking at like situationally. Yeah. What changes our attitude? Right.

So I had a couple of passengers. Again, they snuck into the emergency exit row. We check.

Of course, the jet bridge breaks down, right? So we can't get off. And I'm waiting for them to fix that, to get it up. So that stalls.

I've got like an hour to connect. And I got to go from one terminal to three terminals over. And I'm like, I got to get on a bus.

I got to go through the security, got to go through customs. Like, I'm like in a rush. I'm like, I know I got to get this.

So then, you know, we get to go through KCM, right? Which is no crew member, right? So we go and I get there and I get random. So now I've got to go through the security line. So I get there, get on the bus.

Anyhow, I missed my commute, which is the last flight of the night, two minutes. I get to the gate, planes, jet bridge is pulling away. That was a bucket of suck.

I'm like, the whole feeling right there, like anybody that can relate to that situation was like, I'm like, oh shit, the last flight. So now I'm thinking, is there any way to really get home? Can I? And there is a connection. I can go through Washington.

So I'm like, okay, I'm going to do this. And that hour connect, well, there's weather in Washington. And then we get delayed going out and all this stuff.

And then the commute flight going to Washington from Newark, there was 27 standbys. And then there was seven people on the jump seat. So I put myself, list myself.

I ended up last night getting in at like 1.30 in the morning to the airport, right? So now I got to drive home. I'm not, I'm rolling in here like two o'clock. So yeah, it was a nightmare, man.

You know, we were flying on the same day. Which way? I got in, I got in that same day. Last night? Yeah, I got, well, I got in like mid afternoon.

We can do, we work on the days we want to work on. We choose if we're going to commute or not commute, the types of flights we're doing. As seniority goes, you get all those choices.

And that's a lot of, a lot of the airline carriers do that now. But now some of these low cost carriers are actually saying, you know what, we're going to actually charge for the space above you. So like, you know, that situation we were just talking about where like people get on and crew bags in our space type of thing.

I don't know how they're going to do that or whatever, because all seats don't have baggage space available above you. Right. If you think the seat confrontation was bad.

This is years ago, probably over 20 years ago. And at that point, how they did it was every bag, it didn't matter what you came on board with, every bag had a color tag. I'm talking down to your, the purse.

Didn't matter what it was. It had to have a tag on it. If you walked through the door and they didn't have a tag, you're like, hey, bag, go back.

You got to get a tag for your bags. Right. And so it told the flight attendants, color code tags, where bags belong.

So you have bags that go in an overhead, bags that went under your seat, right? All that stuff. So it was, it was, it's a pretty cool idea. So I could see like, that's how they got it.

So first of all, I made the news. So, you know, FAA and all that stuff, they're aware. So they're getting, they didn't find big time.

The airline gets fined for any type of thing like that FAA violation. But I mean, it's stupid. Yeah.

Golly, that's crazy. Like it's kind of funny. Back in the day when we first started before computers and all this stuff, because they have all these technology now in different airlines and how they like manage that, keep that from happening.

But back in the day, how did they do that? How did they do that? You remember? Yeah. Like, how did they make sure that pastures, they weren't born in a plane without pastures? Well, we had to communicate. I mean, they'd come down, we'd talk to each other.

And there's nobody else. Imagine there's no plane down there and they just freaking walk to the edge of the jet way. I mean, we, we've walked on, you've walked on a jet way before and you've gone down there and all of a sudden you come back up and you tell the gate agent.

Like most airports, you can just look, they can look out there. The window and see the plane, but there are gates in a lot of airports where the gate goes around and you can't see where the plane planes are or not in there. Yeah.

That is a perfect example. Why we tell people to make sure that their laptops are underneath their seats or either that are in their laps. Don't bring the overhead vents.

And then you get those runaway fires and you know, that's why they're always like vapes. They have to be on you, you know, like, Oh, any of these, like lithium battery type of operated devices need to be where you can reach and grab it because you need to know if it's going to catch on fire or not. So you get on the flight, you check it, whatever you leave it at the end of the jet bridge. And then they take it down. They stow it on the plane.

So this lady went on this tirade about she was blaming the, the, the airlines that she just walked out of the jetway without her bag on to her final destination. Didn't have her bag. So it got to her final destination.

And so then now all of a sudden this drops and then they're like, everybody in this fraternity is starting to get indicted.
